The Wandmaker’s Apprentice is a cozy modern-day fantasy set in the northwestern United States. This story is appropriate for adult readers and features a diverse, relatable cast of characters, awkward romance, danger, and lots and lots of magic.

Nox Hollow is the newest edition to the Steampunked Out family. Our wands are individually crafted from over 30 different woods. Most wands range in length form 12 to 16 inches, and our apprentice wands range between 10 and 12 inches long. Various techniques are used, including: Wood turning, carving, pyrography, wood dye, epoxy resin, wire inlay, metal craft, and more. In order to preserve the natural look of the wood grain, most wands are sanded with a high grit and a simple oil and wax finish is applied. Some special edition wands require a clear varnish to protect the color or metal, but we try to preserve the natural look and feel as much as possible. Each wand is unique, and as such, we sell our wands though our Nemesis Gear shop on Etsy.

In addition to wands, we also have several styles of leather wand holsters. Our wands and holsters are designed to work together for a perfect fit (unless otherwise specified for special editions), so no more leaving you wand lying on a table at a comic convention or having it hidden in a pocket. When you get a wand and holster, you can proudly display it on a belt for all to see. Also perfect for dueling!
