About the Author

Roger Brown was born in Southwest Oklahoma and grew up in a small town near the Wichita Mountains. He spent a large amount of time on the creek behind his house, hiking and fishing in the mountains, and working on various projects with his dad. Much to his mother's dismay, he spent little time reading, as he was always on the move. She was finally able to interest him in the “Myth” books by Robert Asprin, which he thoroughly enjoyed, but read little that wasn’t required by his studies. Later in life he discovered audio books and consumed them regularly while driving. He enjoys the works of Terry Goodkind, Piers Anthony, Terry Brooks, Travis Baldree, and other fantasy and sci-fi authors. His Mother was surely as surprised as he was when he wrote his first novel.

Roger studied Art and Photography at the University of Science and Arts in Oklahoma before entering the workforce as most artists do…in the service industry. He spent several years traveling the eastern half of the U.S. working as a road manager for a company that sold leather goods at Renaissance and medieval fairs, before finally settling down in the Idaho panhandle. He started a small home business making and selling cosplay props and accessories online and at comic conventions. With no plans to leave the Inland Northwest, he can still be found in his workshops or occasionally in a booth in the deals hall at a convention. He has yet to find a “real” magic wand, but he tries to put a little magic in everything he makes.

That's right, Nox Hollow is about to get it's own lore! A full length Novel is set to come out in April, and there will be free short stories posted to this section as they are written. At least one additional book is planned, so keep an eye out to learn how wands are created in the absurd world of Nox Hollow.
